They also function well in school and their community because they are able to interact and work well with others, communicate effectively and resolve disagreements without hostility. These inherent skills continue to develop as children accumulate life experiences and knowledge. If these skills are lacking, then life for a child at school and in society can be frustrating, humiliating and lonely.
